摘要：This paper delves into the multifunctional tʂɤ 着within the Zhoutun dialect. Through meticulous analysis, we identify and elaborate on at least three distinct functions that tʂɤ serves in this regional linguistic variety. Firstly, tʂɤ operates as a marker of imperfective aspect. Secondly, tʂɤ is employed as a converb marker, linking clauses with various relationships. Thirdly, it acts as a complement marker, analogous to some degree to de得 in Standard Mandarin, introducing the degree or result of an action or a state depicted by a verb or an adjective. By examining these concurrent functions of tʂɤ on a synchronic plane, this study reconstructs the grammaticalization path of tʂɤ.
